Plant Food
Pour Enviro Ice™ directly onto the plants soil or grass. Follow the next FAQ's guidance for plant food instructions.
Recycle
Cut the pouch corner and pour the gel down a drain. Then rinse the pouch and recycle it like any other plastic bags.
Discard
Place the whole gel pack into the garbage.
There are 2 types of Enviro Ice gel packs. "Enviro Ice" and "Enviro Ice -12C". Be sure to check which one is yours as they have very different dissolution ratios.
Enviro Ice™ (NPK 0.1-0-0)
Indoor Plants: Mix 6 oz. / 170 grams / 0.75 cups of Enviro Ice per gallon of water. Feed indoor plants every two weeks.
Grass, Outdoor Flowers and Vegetables: Mix 17 oz. / 480 grams / 2 cups of Enviro Ice with one gallon of water in a watering can. Feed outdoor plants every 7-14 days during the growing season.
Enviro Ice -12C (NPK 6-0-0)
Indoor Plants: Mix .2 oz./5 grams/1 teaspoon of Enviro Ice -12C per gallon of water. Feed indoor plants every two weeks.
Grass, Outdoor Flowers and Vegetables: Mix .5 oz./14 grams/3 teaspoons of Enviro Ice -12C per gallon of water in a watering can. Feed outdoor plants every 7-14 days during the growing season.
If plants become over-fertilized, remove a thin top layer of soil and cover the remaining soil with distilled water, then allow it to drain. Repeat 4 times.
The content of our gel packs is nontoxic and should not be harmful if ingested in small quantities by your child or pet. However if you have any concerns, we recommend you contact your doctor, veterinarian or local poison control center (1-800-222-1222) immediately.
No. Gel packs you receive in shipments are specially formulated for commercial use, and stay cold too long for safe application to the body. Please talk to your doctor or practitioner about our line of physical therapy products, which are the best choice for both cold and hot therapeutic treatments at home.
The exact recipe is proprietary but here are the basic ingredients:
Enviro Ice™
- Water: 99.5%+
- Gelling Agent, Urea: less than 0.5%
Enviro Ice -12C
- Water: 75%+
- Urea: less than 15%
- Gelling Agent: less than 0.5%

The NPK of Enviro Ice™ is 0.1-0-0. It takes around 1,000 pounds of regular Enviro Ice™ product to apply 1 pound of nitrogen to the soil.
The NPK of Enviro Ice -12C is 6-0-0. It takes around 16 pounds of Enviro Ice -12C product to apply 1 pound of nitrogen to the soil.
